Cabochons
Cabs are wrapped with sterling silver or gold-filled wire and made into a pendant.
Bracelets and Rings

Bracelets and rings are made with sterling silver or gold-filled wire. Special beads or stones are chosen for the centerpiece and the wire is formed around them to make a frame for them.
Tumbled stones

Agate, jasper, carnelian, sodalite are such pretty rocks! I wrap these usually in nickel, brass or copper wire to make a special pendant. I try to use as few wires as possible to hold the stone and make the stone the centerpiece rather than the wire.
Viking knitting

Before the advent of chain mail, the Vikings used this technique to make a type of armor. Very fine wire is looped, and looped, and looped again to make a "woven" tube of metal. Since there is so much stress put on the metal during this process, only pure metal is used. The bracelet shown above is pure platinum.
